5 Star Champion: Mickey Sanchez

Nominated by Jennifer Severance: I know I speak for many of us in the field when I say Mickey has helped us out time and time again.  I always thank her, profusely, but I wanted to take a minute and recognize her more formally and through a 5-Star Champion nomination.  Although there have been many occasions that she's gone above and beyond, most recently it was on a PAF approval that was missed.  After the deadline to submit had passed, I emailed her that they were approved, and I understood that they'd be on the next payroll.  She stopped what she was doing and immediately added in the additional pay.  I know she didn't have to, but she did it without asking, going above and beyond to ensure we got the payments entered for the current payroll. It meant a lot to me that she went out of her way on a busy holiday payroll processing day and took the time to get it done.  Thank you, Mickey, for going the extra mile and being understanding when we are human.  You are a joy to have on the team and I value your partnership!
