SHADY OAKS LOCKS DOWN A NEW VENDOR THANKS TO PRINCIPAL MANAGEMENT GROUP OF HOUSTON.

A gated sub-community within the Tanglewood master community in the greater Houston area, Shady Oaks is unique in that 95 percent of the residents are the original owners from 1979. Backing up to the Houston Country Club golf course and located in a private cul-de-sac, Shady Oaks homes are the epitome of leisure lifestyle living.

CHALLENGE:

The gated entry keypad system was down during a weeklong deluge, which presented challenges for the Board both in securing a vendor and reassuring homeowners the problem would be addressed promptly.

RESOLUTION:

The CAM was able to communicate with board members constantly by mail, email and signage to reassure the homeowners that once the rain stopped, a contractor would be on standby to make the repairs. Once it finally did, due to the professional relationship the CAM has with the vendor (Atix), they arrived first thing on Saturday morning to repair the keypad system. The board was pleased to see that Principal Management Group of Houston (an Associa company) has qualified contractors that provide quick, top-notch service to its communities.
