e3 Champion: Showing Compassion in an Emergency Situation

Each month, employee family members are selected as e3 Champions. E3 stands for: Every client. Every day. Every time. The e3 Champion Award rewards those who go above and beyond the call of duty for both internal and external clients.

Nomination by Jessica Williams: Jessica received a glowing email from a board president, Juleen, listing the various safety and revenue-generating projects that Leanne has successfully led in their community. On top of the many accomplishments and overall outstanding service Leanne provides each day, she handled an emergency situation with swift action and compassion. Juleen had recently undergone hip surgery and experienced complications, leaving her injured on the floor and unable to move for hours. Leanne had stopped by to drop off some materials at the front door, but Juleen’s front gate was locked and the AC was on full blast so she could not hear the calls for help. Somehow Leanne sensed something was wrong and discovered Juleen, quickly calling an ambulance for help. Leanne then kept Juleen company for hours at the hospital, so she would not be frightened and alone, given that Juleen’s family is out of state. Thank you, Leanne, for not only serving the community well but for caring about the wellbeing of our residents. Your swift action and compassion in that emergency situation is admirable and we are so grateful to have you as a member of the Associa family.
