April Board Training Events

The Office of the Ombudsman for Owners in Common-Interest Communities and Condominium Hotels will be facilitating two classes on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 at the Associa Sierra North Office located at 10509 Professional Circle, Suite 200, Reno, NV 89521. 

• Year in Review will be facilitated from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This training topic covers steps an association’s board of directors may take when the end of the fiscal year approaches to ensure compliance with state law is maintained over time.  
• Budgeting in a CIC will be facilitated from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. This topic takes an in-depth look at the reserve study, defines a variety of financial terms, discusses the importance of interim financial statements, describes audits vs. reviews, and explains the process involving budget adoption and ratification in accordance with NRS 116.
