Webinar: Ask the Experts: Local Law 97 Compliance

Local Law 97 represents one of the most ambitious plans for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the nation by addressing the source of an estimated 2/3 of NYC carbon emissions - its buildings.

Under this law, most buildings over a certain size are required to meet new energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions limits by 2024, with stricter limits coming into effect in 2030.  These requirements have created challenges (and opportunities) for residential co-op and condo boards to comply and avoid fines.

Maxwell-Kates, Inc. Director of Compliance, Faith Rodriguez-Price, SVP of New Business and Marketing, Andy Marks, and members of NYC Accelerator, part of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice, discuss the specific requirements and practical solutions for co-ops and condo boards and their resident communities in this webinar.
