Board Basics Training

At The Prescott Companies, we believe that when board members have access to practical information to help manage an association, they can make the best decisions on behalf of their homeowners and help their community thrive. That’s why we hosted a free educational seminar for board members. 

At our session on March 5th, attendees had the opportunity to get their questions answered by Attorneys Aaron Zimmerman and Tim Flanagan with Berding & Weil. The following topics were discussed:

• General operation of a common interest development

• Fiduciary duties of board members

• Board meetings

• Association governing documents and records

• Personnel and liability issues

• Vendor contracts
