e3 Champion: Handling Challenges with Grace
Each month, employee family members are selected as e3 Champions. E3 stands for: Every client. Every day. Every time. The e3 Champion Award rewards those who go above and beyond the call of duty for both internal and external clients.
Nomination by Elise Trent: PCM’s Branch President received an email from a resident at The Colony, the community where Kara serves as Recreation Director. The Colony is an active adult community that is currently going through some internal conflict. Kara handles all of the challenges that come her way with professionalism and grace.
“My name is Brenda and I have lived in the Colony for 24 years. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our Activities Director, Mrs. Kara Hardy. Recently, Kara had to step in and facilitate an issue between two major groups in the Colony. I am a member of one of these groups. Due to her people skills, calm demeanor, fairness in negotiating and preparedness with facts, Kara was able to come to a resolution with the two groups that was beneficial for all. This was a huge task she was assigned to do and she navigated it very well. Her efforts are very much appreciated. Kara has always maintained a professional attitude and we are very lucky to have her at the Colony. Not only does she keep us refreshingly busy, she is a delight to work with on all levels of needs. For someone being so young and working with older people who are set in our ways, she manages to keep us all happy. “
