Associa Employees Investing in Dallas, One Backpack at a Time

Celebrating 10 Years of Giving Back to Dallas Children 

DALLAS —

 This year marks the 10th anniversary of Associa’s annual school supply drive benefiting Community Partners of Dallas (CPD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing what abused children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow. Through the annual drive, Associa employees collect essential school supplies that are distributed to children and families served through CPD’s programs.

 “What makes this tradition especially meaningful is that it is driven by our employees. For 10 years, they have continued to show what it means to come together and make a difference in the lives of children in our community,” said John Carona CEO of Associa. “Our employees embody our culture of family and what it means to give back to our community, which we consider an extension of our own families.”

The school supply drive reflects Associa’s longstanding commitment to supporting the communities where its employees live and work. From backpacks and notebooks to pencils and other classroom essentials, each contribution helps provide children with resources that can make the transition back to school a little easier.

“We are grateful to Associa and its employees for coming together to invest in the children and families in our community and help them start the school year with the tools they need to thrive,” said Ashley Davis, corporate relations director of Community Partners of Dallas. “When children have the supplies, they need to begin the school year, they can walk into the classroom feeling prepared, supported and ready to learn. For Associa employees, the 10-year milestone represents more than a decade of collecting school supplies. It represents 10 years of employees choosing to invest in children and families in their community.

“Sometimes we forget how much the little things can mean to a child. Being able to donate school supplies is a simple way for me to help a family make sure a child has what they need to start the school year. As a former educator, I’m proud to be part of a company that gives us opportunities like this to give back and make a difference in the communities we’re part of,” said Courtney Craven, Marketing Account Director, at Associa.
