[Salsa Mexicana] to Spice up Life at Home

Before joining the professional association management world, I was involved in the tourism industry here in Mexico. I spent several years teaching tourists of all ages how to cook authentic Mexican salsas and how to dance the salsa. As we're all adapting to this everchanging world and staying at home, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite recipes so that you can spice it up in the kitchen and try something new and fresh!

I left early this morning to go to my local supermarket for fresh ingredients. I am proud of my local supermarket, as they have taken serious precautions to monitor guests and ensure everyone practices social distancing. Areas were taped off to limit crowding, lots of hand sanitizer was available, and many people were wearing masks.

I grabbed my fresh ingredients—fresh ingredients are key to the outcome of your salsa, or any other recipe you want to attempt! Once I had everything I needed, I headed back home to disinfect myself and the items. To disinfect my ingredients, I wash them with soap and water and then rinse them with clean water.

After you've cleaned your ingredients properly, you're ready to make your salsa. All you need is a serving bowl, lime squeezer, your favorite tortilla chips, and some hunger!
