5. IMPLEMENT
A SUGGESTION
BOX
There's a reason the simple suggestion box
has withstood the test of time. This feedback
method allows people to share concerns and
ideas anonymously and without having to offer
lengthy explanations. For many busy or hesitant
homeowners, this is the ideal way to voice their
opinions and feel involved.
Board members can expect a wide range of
feedback from a suggestion box. While not all
suggestions will carry equal merit, it's important
to read every submission and address ongoing
concerns or patterns.
Best suited for feedback on:
• Issues not discussed during meetings
• Minor or personal complaints
• Suggested community changes
Place your suggestion box in a shared common
area, like a clubhouse or fitness room. Make
sure to include blank suggestion cards and
pens. Check the box once a month or before
board meetings to get relevant input from
residents.
