Drain grease, return sausage to pan, cover with milk, and continue cooking. 4. Add cornstarch to a small bowl and slowly mix in cold water until the cornstarch has a watery consistency. 5. Add the mixture to the frying pan with sausage and cook for 5-10 minutes, continuously stirring. Season with salt and pepper. 6.
