1. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a small
skillet. Add garlic and stir, lightly frying for about 1
minute. Once golden, transfer to a mixing bowl and
allow to cool slightly.
2. Add the tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt, and
pepper to the bowl. Toss to combine, cover, and
refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
3. Then, melt the butter in a large skillet. In batches,
toast the bread on both sides until golden-brown,
making sure they're nice and buttery.
4. Arrange the toasted bread slices on a large platter.
Spoon a generous amount of the tomato mixture
over each slice of bread and serve.

1 pint red grape tomatoes, halved
1 pint yellow grape tomatoes, halved
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
16 leaves basil, torn
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
8 Tbsp butter
1 baguette, cut into ¼-inch pieces
