2. EDUCATE RESIDENTS
Educate homeowners on the benefits of association living and the importance
of being engaged. Once homeowners fully understand the value of community
living and the work that goes into protecting their investment, they're more
motivated to do their part in improving their HOA.
New Residents
Not all new community members understand how the board of directors or their
HOA operates. Hold orientations for new residents to help familiarize them with
the community and operational processes. The more people know, the more
likely they'll be to volunteer.
Existing Residents
Consider holding quarterly informational meetings for existing homeowners
in addition to regular meetings. These meetings allow homeowners to interact
with their board members and community manager and learn about volunteer
opportunities.
