AMENITIES RISKS
Some amenities in community associations are considered high-liability. From an
insurance and risk perspective, that means they're more likely to have a higher risk of
injury. For example, a person may slip and fall on a slippery pool deck, a resident might
get hurt on faulty exercise equipment, or a child might have a serious fall from a broken
playground structure.
High-risk amenities include pools, fitness rooms, and playgrounds. Follow this quick
checklist of what to look out for in your community's amenities.
