Use special education sessions and
board meetings to educate them on
the key aspects of the process and
consequences for non-compliance.
Make sure that instructions are clear
and carefully walk through the timeline
of actions and steps for collections,
so there are no surprises. Educate
residents by advising them on:
• Where to find the collections policy
• Contact information for questions
or concerns
• How to submit a late payment
• What happens if past-due
payments aren't received in time
