CALL FOR
VOLUNTEERS
Back-to-school is always a busy time, which can
be stressful for parents with a lot on their plates.
Fortunately, many community members have the
time and willingness to help families make the
school year as safe and enjoyable as possible.
HOA boards may want to consider asking for
back-to-school volunteers to work as:
• Cross guards for busy crosswalks
• Bus stop supervisors
• Carpool organizers
• Walking group leaders for younger kids
Some communities have designated safety
committees that focus on developing security
protocols and identifying potential risks to
residents. These volunteers could be valuable to
your HOA's back-to-school efforts.
