COMPLYING WITH HOA RULES
It's important for homeowners to comply with community guidelines. The rules are
designed to make your community a great place to live, not be a burden. If you violate
the rules—either knowingly or unknowingly—this is what may happen:
• Violation letter. The HOA board may send the homeowner a violation letter, an
initial notification outlining the violation, how to fix it, and how long they have to
make the change.
• Fees or fines. The HOA may impose a fee or fine associated with the severity of
the violation.
• Further action. If the issue remains unresolved, the board may suspend amenities
privileges, schedule a non-compliance hearing, or take further legal action.
