2. ENFORCE THE
RULES FAIRLY.
Although some board members want to be flexible
with HOA rules, that can be a slippery slope.
Allowing a few residents to go against community
guidelines while restricting others might be seen as
discrimination or a failure to fulfill responsibilities to
the association.
To keep homeowner satisfaction up, boards must
enforce rules fairly and consistently. This includes
ensuring compliance, addressing violations, and
following proper protocols. Holding each community
resident to the same standards promotes harmony
and trust.
