9 7. DISTRIBUTE UPDATED DOCUMENTS It's the board's duty to distribute a copy of the adopted amendment to association members. Seek guidance from your HOA or COA attorney on whether to send via mail or email. After this step is complete, the board can disband the document review committee. Also, if permitted by your governing documents, consider sharing critical updates through other community platforms, such as your newsletter, website, or social media accounts.
