1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Add melted butter and hash browns to a 9x13 glass dish. Set aside.
3. Combine mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 lb of cheese in a small pot. Heat
over medium heat until melted and creamy.
4. Pour mixture over hash browns, stir until coated, and top with remaining cheese.
5. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes.
