1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef,
Parmesan cheese, ¾ cup of mozzarella
cheese, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, onion
powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt,
and pepper.
3. Use a cookie scoop to form the mixture into
meatballs. Then, roll them around in your
hands and arrange on a cookie sheet.
4. Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until
fully cooked.
5. Remove meatballs, drain excess grease, and
arrange them in a baking dish.
6. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the
meatballs and spoon ricotta cheese on top.
7. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese
and bake for about 15 minutes, until cheese is
melted and bubbly.
8. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!

2 lbs ground beef
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1¼ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded,
divided
1 egg
¼ cup onion, grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
3 cups marinara sauce
½ cup ricotta cheese
2-3 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
