Community trees are another important
element to incorporate into your fall
maintenance schedule to prevent
liabilities and prep for winter weather.
• Remove dead branches. Mitigate
winter storm hazards by removing
dead or broken tree branches from
community grounds.
• Trim all trees. As your trees shed their
leaves, trim them and keep them short
and neat for winter.
• Consult an arborist. If some trees
appear unhealthy, work with a
professional arborist to save them and
preserve aesthetics.
