UNITS
Most AC units last anywhere between 15
to 25 years—but if a unit is more than 10
to 12 years old, it's likely to require some
attention. To keep the AC unit in tip-top
shape, hire an HVAC technician to do a
thorough investigation and take care of
any issues.
Take special note of the ductwork and
make sure there's no buildup of debris,
dirt, dust, or mold. Make updates to
energy-efficient equipment so buildings
stay cool and comfortable all season
long.
