March
If the snow has cleared, then clean up can begin. You and your landscaper should start to
collect fallen branches, clearing out leaves, and clean up any garden or plant beds. March is
also an excellent time to begin to prune trees and shrubs, and clear out your storm drains.
April
Now it's time to plant. Replace plants that did not survive winter. New plants should be chosen
depending on your climate and location, but don't be afraid to add some color.
DON'T FORGET ABOUT YOUR TREES!
Trees can be a significant investment for a community, so you want to make sure they are
healthy. Every couple of years have an arborist check for diseases, bugs, and fungi that could
harm your trees. Doing this step will help trees continue to grow, providing shade and beauty
for years to come.
