Associa’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jose Maldonado, took time out of his busy schedule to speak with the Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs (AEM) at Southern Methodist University . The topic was “Managing High Growth Companies,” which gave Jose the opportunity to not only speak about his extensive financial experience, but also talk about Associa and our journey. He discussed our industry, how Associa serves our clients, and our inorganic growth strategy. In addition to Associa-specific details, he taught the students how to employ an entrepreneurial mindset in any work environment. Jose really enjoyed sharing the Associa story and mentoring a group of students with shared backgrounds. “Most of the students who attended the conference were either Mexicans or from other Latin American countries, so as you might imagine I connected well with them. Sharing my story and showing them that anything can be accomplished through hard work and dedication was really satisfying.” The students truly enjoyed hearing from Jose and learned a lot of key information they will carry throughout their careers.
