DESERT AIRE RV PARK ROLLS OUT A NEW COMMUNITY PROMOTION PLAN.

A nine-month, 324-lot residential community in picturesque Coachella Valley — home to park models, motorhomes and fifth wheels — Desert Aire is an oasis for active 55-and-over adults. Not only do residents share the ownership of this unique property, they also enjoy resort-style amenities like a “par 3” pitch-and-putt golf course, 18-hole putting green, three swimming pools, spa and workout room, horseshoe pits, pickleball courts and shuffleboard courts.

Additionally, Desert Aire boasts a large clubhouse, which is a natural gathering place for community events, including dinner dances, musical entertainment, line dancing, exercise classes, quilting and crafts. It also features a billiards room, library and much more.

CHALLENGE:

As a private, gated community catering to a niche, active-adult lifestyle, Desert Aire was Coachella Valley’s best-kept secret: No “for sale” signs were allowed outside the gates. However, the Real Estate Committee recently decided to increase awareness about the community to attract interest among potential buyers and renters.

RESOLUTION:

Desert Resort Management, an Associa partner, worked with the Desert Aire Real Estate Committee to place a sign outside the gate indicating there are units for sale within the community. They also plan to create an additional website with links to their Facebook page to promote social engagement and spark interest. The result? Already there has been much positive exposure and response from visitors, who frequently remark what a lovely community it is.
