WELL-VETTED VENDORS
17. REVIEW VENDOR CONTRACTS. Review your contracts and make notes on each one about whether
you're happy with the vendor, end date of the contract and termination requirements. If you intend to go
out to bid, make sure is it on the annual plan.
18. THANK YOUR MANAGER. This may seem obvious, but when was the last time your board sent a simple
email saying thanks? If you're happy with your service, today would be a good day to jot a quick note of
appreciation to the person who's partnering with you to achieve your community's vision.
19. DISCUSS SERVICE CONCERNS. Conversely, do you have concerns about your management team?
Take a moment to address those in writing with the appropriate person. Management companies are
eager to please their customers and can likely resolve your issue before it becomes a frustration.
