At Associa, we believe in acting on our values. Supporting communities is what we do. We're always committed to serving our clients, but we're just as driven to provide support for all communities and residents when they need it most. Since its founding in 2005, Associa Cares has not only grown to be the leading non-profit in the community association industry, but has also become a resource for community organizations across North America to refer their disaster relief clients to for additional help. We achieved monumental impact in the history of Associa Cares in 2023, as we celebrated the first operational year for our newly established charitable entity, Associa Cares Canada. Together, Associa Cares and Associa Cares Canada distributed more than $650,000 in aid to families and communities in crisis. Part of this aid included the distribution of nearly $350,000 to Hawaii residents following the historic wildfires in Maui. $287,500 of this sum was made possible through direct donations to this effort from both U.S. and Canadian residents. While no one wants to be impacted by a crisis, having resources readily available when you need them most is an invaluable source of comfort. We're honored to provide direct financial assistance to communities and families whether they live in Associa-managed communities or not. When natural and man-made disasters damage or destroy homes and disrupt lives, Associa Cares is there to help families and communities recover as quickly as possible.
