1. Place all ingredients in a 1-gallon zip-top bag and
let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Remove the steak and cook on a grill or in the oven,
basting with the marinade.
3. Cook until the center is 120-125°F for rare or
130-135°F for medium.
4. Let rest for at least 20 minutes before eating.
2-2½ lbs tri-tip steak
3 Tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp pepper
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp honey or balsamic vinegar
