1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
3. Pour batter into an oiled cast-iron skillet over
medium-low heat. Remove from heat and place in
oven. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until golden-brown.
4. Remove and let cool.
5. Flip the skillet and transfer the corn bread to a plate.
Cut and serve.
Nanny's Corn Bread

1-3 cups cornmeal
½-1 cup buttermilk
1 Tbsp mayonnaise
1-2 eggs
¼ cup oil
water (to thin batter)
