1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a small bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, mix the vegetable oil and brown sugar until well combined.
4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Then, add the bananas until fully mixed.
5. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into a parchment paper-lined loaf pan and bake for 45-60 minutes.
8. Remove from oven, lift the loaf by the parchment paper, and set to rest for 15 minutes on a plate or
cooling rack.
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¼ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup brown sugar
1 egg

3 ripe bananas
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
