1. Add steak, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar,
sesame oil, hot sauce or chili sauce, garlic, and
green onions to a slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low for 3½-4 hours or until beef
is tender and cooked through.
3. Spoon a few tablespoons of the slow cooker broth
into a bowl and whisk with cornstarch.
4. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker
and toss with the beef until combined.
5. Add broccoli to slow cooker and cook, covered, for
another 20 minutes.
6. Serve over jasmine rice.
1½ lbs sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
½ cup brown sugar
3 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp hot sauce or chili sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 cups broccoli florets
jasmine rice, cooked (for serving)
