1. Combine water, tomatillos, serrano peppers, and garlic in a small saucepan over medium-high heat;
bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Transfer contents to a blender; blend until smooth and set aside.
3. Place a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; cook and stir flank steak until completely browned.
4. Pour tomatillo mixture over steak and bring to a boil. Stir in chicken bouillon and reduce heat to
medium. Cover the skillet and simmer until tender, 30 minutes-1 hour.
5. Meanwhile, heat pinto beans in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
6. Stir pinto beans and crumbled bacon into flank steak mixture.
7. Divide between 6 bowls and garnish with onions, cilantro, black pepper, and lime
wedges.

squares
1 cube chicken bouillon
2 (15 oz) cans pinto beans
6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
½ onion, chopped (for garnish)
6 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
(for garnish)
ground black pepper (to taste)
6 lime wedges (for garnish)
