AREAS
As you make your way through your HOA
spring to-do list, don't forget to plan a walk-
through of your association's trash and
recycling areas. Make sure residents are
following proper disposal practices and
keeping the area tidy. If you notice violations
or incorrect use of the garbage receptacles,
consider sending a friendly reminder for
homeowners in your HOA newsletter and at
your next association meeting.
Also, when trash or recycling dumpsters are
damaged or excessively dirty, you may be able
to request new ones from your HOA waste
management company. This small change can
greatly impact the community's appearance
and homeowner pride.
