In the United States, managed
communities host an annual meeting
once a year. The main meeting for an HOA,
it's an opportunity to address large-scale
topics and educate residents on upcoming
goals. Residents, board members, and
management representatives attend to
do things like elect new board members,
present budgets, hear committee reports,
and celebrate success.
Here's what these meetings are called in
each country:
• UNITED STATES: Annual meeting
• CANADA: Annual general meeting
• MEXICO: General or ordinary assembly
