PREPARE BUILDINGS FOR WET
WEATHER.
Because winter comes with wet weather that can take a toll on your community
structures, you should always prep buildings in the fall.
• Clear gutters. Remove dead leaves and other buildup that has accumulated in gutters.
• Clean out storm drains. Make certain all storm drains are free of debris and clogs that
could cause flooding.
• Remind residents. Send a reminder to residents to clear out their own gutters and
drains before winter.
