INSPECT HIGH-TRAFFIC
OUTDOOR AREAS.
Walkways, stairs, and driveways can get slick in the wintertime. Inspect these
areas and address repairs ASAP.
• Secure hand railings. Fix loose hand railings and confirm they meet building
code requirements.
• Repair uneven pavement. Repair dangerous cracks or holes in community
walkways.
• Check lighting. Inspect outdoor lighting around community buildings and
walking paths and replace bulbs if necessary.
