PREPARE THE PLAYGROUND Before opening your playground to residents, make sure you have a thorough understanding of local and federal guidelines for reopening this amenity—and start by addressing these requirements before anything else. Beyond sanitization efforts, ensure the equipment is safe for kids. Look for loose screws and nuts, chipped paint, and anywhere water can pool to create a slippery or moldy surface. Check nearby splash pads for any necessary updates.
